I have no doubt very seedy things happen here. Remember when Romney received 0 votes in 59 precincts in 2012? Seriously....Zero?

Anyway I did a google search a minute ago. "Voter Fraud Philly". How funny that the top link is one that basically says that fraud in Philadelphia is a myth. Then below you see links of people in recent months years being convicted of voter fraud..ha ha.

That guy got caught with less than 100 votes. Do you imagine someone is getting away with tens of thousands?

Republican Presidential candidates are not going to do well in getting zero votes in wards that are predominantly of color. And of course, we know who Romney's opponent was that year. There are likely only two districts where Trump will win this year.

Of all the problems that Republicans have with getting majority votes in the city, voter fraud isn't one of them.

I can absolutely believe that Willard Mitt Romney received 0 votes in certain precincts in Philadelphia. And if you don't, you've clearly never been to Philly.

Yeah, I don't think it's any mystery why a black Presidential candidate got 100% of votes in very poor urban precincts that are 100% or nearly 100% black.

I first heard the term voter fraud from Frank Rizzo. He cited the large number of voter registrations with the first name of Cinderella as proof. Imagine how hard I laughed when, years later, I read that one of the most popular names for females in the late 19th century was Cinderella. I remember lots of elderly women were called Cindy. The dumb bully was calling the little old ladies fraudulent for registering with their own legal names.

Bingo. Classic ignorance as to the dynamics of the on-the-ground demographics and the overwhelming political persuasion of Philadelphians.

Why is it that the Republican Party feels the need to create a narrative about voting fraud and manufacture "wrong doing" to win? How utterly ridiculous and desperate.

Because modern GOP policies are generally pretty unpopular, and if contested solely on the merits those policies would lose. So Republicans know the only way to win is to gerrymander and keep turnout down--Trump even publicly admitted as much. That's why they do things like ramming through a Supreme Court justice right before an election, or attacking the integrity of elections themselves. The voter fraud line isn't new, but refusing to commit to accept the results of an election? That's sad and stunning and totally unprecedented.

It's a shame because there's nothing more important as Americans than to let our voices be heard, and the huge turnout for this election is really something to behold. I dropped my mail-in ballot off the other day at the CAPA satellite location, and the line for early voting went around the entire block. And this was on a Tuesday at lunchtime, not even a "prime" timeslot. Whatever the outcome, it won't be because people sat at home on their hands.

It's easy to win votes promising "free" healthcare, "free" income, "free" housing, "free" food, "free" college, etc.
