... Democrats don't rush to live with minorities either.

Democrats may be racially more tolerant, but... they are socially less tolerant than Republicans, and minorities, especially new immigrants and African Americans, tend to belong to lower social classes.

The paradox of the modern American leftist, socialist but socially intolerant, democrat but elitist.

As a minority, I will say you are clueless, there are millions of White Anericans of both parties who seek diversity for their kids to grow up with. They want folks like themselves of all ethnicities who are successful with strong families. As my kids were growing up they were quited popular and White parents encouraged their kids to be with and be like.

In France we have the same type of bourgeois leftist, obsessed with socialism and racism, but not capable of living in the country next to farmers.

Feuds between French farmers and incomers force talks - Telegraph

Quote:
"They (newcomers) don't see us as farmers who produce food, but as polluters," said Mr Rigal, who is no longer on speaking terms with his Parisian neighbours.

One of them has "forbidden" him to plant corn in the field in front of his house "because it spoils the view".

"Some people have an idealised view of the country. But it's noisy and it stinks," said Mr Rigal, adding: "Parisians are far worse than the Brits."
Parisian = bourgeois leftist idealist from Paris, who views his own people as animals and foreigners as an army coming to liberate him from conservative oppression.

Absurd drivel.

Why were many Democrats at the forefront of the Civil Rights Movements if you claim they were socially intolerant?

The last thing socially intolerant people do is fight for change, which is what Democrats have long done.

This isn't France.

Thank goodness.

Why not remove all financial benefits associated with marriage?
Why should non-married couples subsidize the life of married ones?
Why should single professionals support rabbits or upper class childless married couples?

You probably agree with this also?

If you're talking about NIMBY-type rich liberals, they're not news and certainly not exclusively American. They're a human type who've been with us forever, as long as there have been economic systems.

Your middle sentence...

1) I dont see how the second half, from "especially" onward, connects with the first half.
2) Democrats socially less tolerant than Republicans...? are you kidding?
3) "and minorities...tend to belong..." I dont understand how this is a fault of "The Democrats"
