I just can't help but think that the Democrats are doomed in this election.

Almost everyday, in the newspapers, on these online news sites and forums, there is nothing but nit-picking items between Obama and Clinton- Nothing that demonstrates either candidate's qualifications.

Obama's minister... What Hilary said..What he/she meant...Are spouses fair game?...blah, blah, blah...

Just thinking of all this nonsense that's getting (headline) attention leaves me with plenty of reasons not to vote for either, and no reason to vote for either...

Democrats aren't doomed.

MANY people are tired of the promises of the failed Bush Administration. They're looking for change.

The only reason you don't hear the Democrats stating their qualifications is because of the in-fighting within the party right now.

Obama is CLEARLY going to be the nominee. He has started searching for a VP and started campaigning as the Democratic nominee, while Hillary continues to play her ridiculous games.

Obama has already started attacking certain stances McCain has. Expect that to pick up, especially as Hillary starts feeling increasing pressure to concede.

The internal squabbling will come to an abrupt halt in a few weeks.

Vote for who you think is the best candidate. But stay tuned. November will likely be a BIG month for the Democrats. And a BIG slap-down for the Republicans.

Well..the democrats sure haven't displayed their best qualities to the country, and the world, in this primary process.

They are repeating a history that has failed them in the past. McGovern, Dukasis, Kerry, Gore.

Nominating THE MOST LIBERAL candidate they can find. Add to that the first black man. History will show the electoral has rejected the liberal time and time again, no matter how much they clamour for change. When 60% of the voters say tax hikes would be bad for the economy....well, you figure it out.

I am confident there will be a Democratic President in the White House in 2009.

If Hillary gets the nomination and has John McCain in her sights the Democrats have a good chance. Hillary is proving what a quick trigger she can have.

Correct. And in 1984, Mondale won MN and DC.
