I guess it is good news for the people that want Abortion on demand, Illegal Aliens everywhere, Criminals walking the streets and hurting innocent people and more and more foolish spending that is putting the next several generations into debt.

It's good news only for people who want chaos. That's all Biden has given us. Unfortunately, there really are people who enjoy chaos. Some of them profit off of it. And some of them just think chaos makes for more interesting news and future history lessons.

It's unfortunate that in the USA, we are faced with two extremes. The MAGA and the brainless Biden borg thing. But that's increasingly looking like what the 2024 election is shaping up to be again. I prefer slightly right of center, but that doesn't seem to be in the cards. As far as MAGA goes, it's not even extreme. The reaction from the left to it is what is extreme. Like sunlight hitting a vampire.

If it happens worst news ever for democracy and on our way to marxism/socialism/communism and $8 gas and gas stations shutting down with no fuel and us freezing in our homes with a fossil fuel ban.

The democratic party is so far left they will destroy democracy. The GOP and split congress will not.

You hit the nail on the head. No one in power desires peace, prosperity nor true freedom for the masses. Obtaining and keeping power requires, chaos, turbulence and ginned up "problems" for which those who covet or already have power can brainwash the useful idiots to turn over to them.

Gov't is like chemotherapy - Sometimes it is necessary but understand all the collateral and long term damage it also does.

Ever notice that Tilly rarely if ever comes back to reply to comments on the threads he/she starts? Just likes to start threads to get under people's skin and then just sit back and laugh in whatever leftist echo chamber he/she resides in.

Exactly.

And at that point, I would be all in for a convention of states and a disbanding of the nation as we know it with a return to state sovereignty. And as much as leftists will caterwaul over this comment, calling it a "threat to democracy," it ISN'T. It's written right into our founding documents in anticipation of JUST the situation that we are in right now. If you don't believe me, look it up. Read up on "convention of states."

The only threat to this nation are the leftists who would drag the rest of us in a headlock down their path to socialist hell (and the damned RINOS that goosestep beside them). You go down there alone, folks. I do not want to go. And my right to NOT go is guaranteed me in the constitution, just as it is for everyone else who doesn't want to go. This socialism slavery crap has gone far enough.

BINGO So well said.

Though is the mid terms are competitive and GOP has majority in one chamber of congress we can hang in there for now as the evil left will not be able top shove throiugh their agenda.

Though your statement is correct if somehow the dems maintain the house and pickup 2 or more senate seats we are so beyond hope.

Though if the dens do not get crushed, but the GOP takes one chamber, that would be underwhelming, but relieving that nothing bad would get done though opens the door for less room for error in 2024.

It's good news for the privileged rubes that want to destroy America and plunge us into the dark ages.
