Yes, I just started a thread (POC) on why Johnson is embarrassed and angry at the Dem party and what she plans to do about it.

As a former Portland resident I am following this race, as I think some major changes need to happen in Oregon. I think if I still lived in Oregon and as a life long Democrat, that I would have trouble voting for Oregon Democrats in this day and age. I would change my party to Independent and vote for either Johnson or Drazan. I probably wouldn't agree with all of their views, but I feel the chances of them dealing with issues in Oregon would be greater. Such as the homelessness and drugs and crimes. Not to mention the massive need for affordable housing. I just don't think I would be able to vote for Kotek, as I'm not sure she wouldn't follow the current Governor's do nothing policies. I know I could never vote for Ted Wheeler in Portland either. I think they all need to go and a different form of Politicians and Government, needs to take place in Oregon.

This could very well be a big upset in Oregon this year, if a democrat doesn't win this Governors race. I think its been 35 years with Democrat Governors. Some of which were ok, but it doesn't seem that way anymore.

Yes I heard that. Just shows how fed up big business is in Oregon with the current regime.

I see little to no comments on this Oregon Governors race on CD. Everything is Arizona or Pennsylvania or the screwed up one I live in Florida.

So for those of you that live in Oregon as I once did. Is Kotek or Drazan expected to win this Governor's race? My guess it is going to be rather a close race.

Every time I click on a YouTube video for the past week, I get a Tina Kotek ad. The Democrats are pouring money into this race like crazy. Obviously the party apparatus is afraid they could lose. If the polls have the Republican Drazan up by 1 or 2%, I think her true support is higher. People in the Portland metro area might be very reluctant to admit even in an anonymous poll that they are voting for the Republican. Being totally ostracized for not being a Progressive Democrat is a real thing here.

It's an extremely close race in Oregon right now. Kotek and Drazan must be all nerves right now, wondering which one of them is actually going to win when its this close.

Same old crap in OR. Tina won.

Hobos, drug addicts, progressive nut jobs and criminals are still in charge.

C'est la vie
