DeSantis is doing a very good job so far—I didn’t realize he was such a good debater. Sounds like both he and Crist brought their crowds.

Crist is just being down and dirty.

And the moderator is excellent!!! Next stop for her, FOX News.

Not sure I agree. I think DeSantis has gotten his butt handed to him here a few times.

Going into this I thought this was going to be a bloodbath.

Ron not answering the question "Will you be governor for 4 years" was shocking when he wouldn't say YES.

-The crowd is annoying
-Desantis will likely win but man he does not have a good stage presence, looks like he is about to erupt when Christ is talking
-Charlie Christ didn't have much of a chance from the start but he was effective at showing some of Ron's weaknesses, always seems unsettled
-DeSantis has made moves in Florida that fit politics as of right now but could cause some issues if politics moves on in the next 2 years

Overall I thought there was no clear winner, both got what they needed in this debate, Ron will win re-election unless something crazy happens in the next 2 weeks. But I do think this debate shows how difficult a time Ron may have in the Republican President Primary if someone comes at him hard, especially Trump.

Really?

It is not as though he has been floated as a potential Republican nominee for President in 2024, or anything...

ouch

At debate, Florida Gov. DeSantis asked about a possible run for President: "The only worn-out old donkey I'm looking to put out to pasture is Charlie Christ."
