The housing market is a perfect example as is this election. It is clear that many can be misled by bloggers and folks posting and saying anything without corrorboration. Some fall for it without thinking for themselves and others jump into intellectual discussions hoping to bring it down to their level of thinking. By spreading falseness they are able to manipulate the less able to believe what they want. The housing market was filled with fraud and marketing that made people make poor financial decisions. Condo speculators are a perfect example etc etc. Behaviorist believe you can use government policy to provide incentives for people to make good decisions that are in their self interest both short term and long term. Not just offering people the opportunity to invest for their retirement early in life but providing the incentive to do so. 401k and 403B plans are perfect examples not being used by enough Americans. What else can be used in policy to lead people to actually use them. That is Change and you may or may not belive in it but it is a new paradigm

I am Black and started this thread to refute the nonsense in other threads that if Obama wins his cabinet will be full Sharpton and Jackson etc. In fact recent posts tend to support the notion that like his campaign he will recruit the best people and that a lot of his core support is very White and very successful. He clearly has out managed Clinton in his campaign and from another thread I started McCain better get on the ball before he gets out organized. Thus Obama may be a lot of things good or bad but you can't fault his organizational abilities when compared to the Clinton and McCain organizations at this point.
