The Obama campaign released a letter from his doctor today detailing a man who is in perfect health. This stands in sharp contrast to the cancer prone geriatric John McCain

Quote:
DAVID L. SCHEINER, M.D. Hyde Park Associates in Medicine, Ltd.

To Whom It May Concern:

I am David L. Scheiner, a board certified general internist licensed to practice in the State of Illinois. I am on staff at the University of Chicago Hospitals and Rush University Medical Center. I have been Senator Barack Obama's primary care physician since March 23, 1987. The following is a summary of his medical records for the past 21 years.

During that period of time, Senator Obama has been in excellent health. He has been seen regularly for medical checkups and various minor problems such as upper respiratory infections, skin rashes and minor injuries.

His family history is pertinent for his mother's death from ovarian cancer and grandfather who died of prostate cancer. His own history included intermittent cigarette smoking. He has quit this practice on several occasions and is currently using Nicorette gum with success.

Senator Obama's last medical checkup was on January 15, 2007; he had no complaints. He exercised regularly often jogging three miles. His diet was balanced with good intake of roughage and fluids. A complete review of systems was unremarkable. On physical examination, his blood pressure was 90/60 and pulse 60/minute. His build was lean and muscular with no excess body fat. His physical examination was completely normal.

Laboratory studies included triglycerides of 44(normal under 150), cholesterol 173 (normal under 200), HDL 68 (normal over 40), and LDL 96 (normal under 130). Chem 24, urinalysis and CBC were normal, PSA was 0.6, very good. An EKG was normal.

In short, his examination showed him to be in excellent health. Senator Barack Obama is in overall good physical and mental health needed to maintain the resiliency required in the Office of President.

Sincerely,
David L. Scheiner, M.D.

Great news for Barack. Unfortunate for some of the posters on this board. What will try to pick on now?

What will they try next?

Well, I haven't seen them bring this up yet - but it's probably just a matter of time:

The Secret Order of The Illuminati - New World Order - Jesuits - CFR - Black Pope

After all, Obama IS a member of the CFR and according to some wackos out there, the CFR is in effect run by Reptilian Aliens from outer space.

Maybe this is the promised "October Surprise".

LOL

Ken

The good doctor fails to mention Obama's paternal family history. I would be interested to know his sickle cell status. That is my nit"pick". Those positive for sickle cell have increased risk of stroke. Those with sickle cell AND who smoke, well.....

A man of McCain's advanced age doesn't get a real clean bill of health, about the only thing you can find out is whether he's dead yet or not.

What did surface is that McCain had top secret cancer surgery last Feb. We also learned more information about the serious 5 1/2 hour operation he had in 2000 for intermediate melanoma.

Quote:
The 10-year survival rate for that intermediate melanoma is 65 percent, said Dr. Stuart Lessin, director of the melanoma risk-assessment program at Philadelphia's Fox Chase Cancer Center. He was not involved in McCain's care.

"He's not cured," Lessin said

Oh darn, Obama used his own doctor unlike McCain did. When was this total and complete physical done?

McCain had SKIN cancer, you make it out like something bad. You have skin cancer yourself, we all do in our lifetime have some sort of skin cancer.

Now, as far as his doctors statements, sure he will say all this, what McCain did was went to a board certified physican that was on his payroll like Obama did. I would like to see a complete physical from a third party and not his own physican.

No one is picking on poor Obama, the Obamakins have made every detail a major issue on McCain and have opened the exact same up for Obama. Whats good for one is good for the other.

Besides I surely wouldnt trust any of Obamas known physicans, with his lack of good judgement skills he might have either paid them off or picked the wrong one.

Is this the same hospital his wife works at and got the 200k raise the day after he was elected to the Senate?

If you think Obama has been picked on, yu havent seen nothing yet. If he gets the nomination, both he and his wife will have to answer some tough questions which I think they will fail at answering.

. McCain has had four separate spots of melanoma removed from his head and arm in 1993, 2000 and 2002 and again last Feb. Three spots were very early stage, when they were in the uppermost skin surface and easily cut out. But one, on his left temple in 2000, was invasive melanoma, what doctors call an "intermediate risk" melanoma because of its thickness _ 2.2 millimeters. He also had his lymph nodes removed and dissected. Despite your typically wild claims, most of us don't have that.

For further measure lets go over that quote by Dr. Stuart Lessin, director of the melanoma risk-assessment program at Philadelphia's Fox Chase Cancer Center. Remember Lessin is talking about the surgery McCain had 8 years ago for invasive melanoma:

Quote:
"The 10-year survival rate for that intermediate melanoma is 65 percent, He's not cured"

Whoa!! Wait a minute.

This won't do at all.

He should release his medical RECORDS, not a summary from his physician.

What's he hiding?
