Oh GREAT OBAMA, where is the UNITY?????????????????????
First of all, it's NOT 1/3 to 1/2 of the party.

Get Real.

Polls have indicated that perhaps 1/3 of 1/4 of the CLINTON SUPPORTERS have said that - and since the Clinton supporters are about 1/2 of the party, that means the numbers are 1/6 to 1/8 of the party - NOT 1/3 to 1/2 of the party. You need to retake math.

In additon, while this primary has been more divisive than usual, it's not uncommon for some of the loosers backers to make such claims - and generally they just don't happen that way by the time the general election occurs.

He said he would reach across the aisle. Did he say he would unite the Democrats too?

It may seem the Dem party this go-round has the least amount of unity etc. but that's because this primary season has dragged on for so long, plus different loud, abrasive factions have been at the fore (Hillary ladies for McCain, kids for Obama) who didnt used to be. Also everyone has been in a raging lather for years about the Bush Admin so everyone is primed.

You notice he didnt attack her like a rabid dog, he was pretty gentlemanly all the way through. And he let her keep 19 delegates from MI (or FL - one of them, yesterday).

It IS a contest, you know. Would the most unifying thing have been to concede to Hillary?

Don't bet on it.

Not from some of us. Obama has made no attempt and not extended his hand to us who are Clinton supporters. When he does, many of us will not accept or shake his hand. He has played too much behind the scenes, dirty pool.

So much for his greatly sought after UNITY!

You know it's amazing how it's Obama who's responsible for "dividing" the party. Seems to me that Clinton is one half of that "division".

LOL
