No doubt that McCain thinks that kissing up to AIPAC will help him with the Jewish vote. The Democrats probably will too but if it were me I would level with them and let them know that we are going to take a more even hand in the future and they might as well get used to the idea that the USA is no longer going to serve as a patsy to the Zionist (which, btw, are a SMALL number of overall Jews) and that we are not going to support anymore expansions of settlements in the West Bank and that we are going to demand that Israel withdraw from the West Bank and we are going to demand that Hammas sign a peace deal and enforce it- and that means arresting and turning over to Israel any Palestinians that wish to violate the agreement. And then I would bring both the leader of Hamas and the leader of Israel and the leader of the West Bank into my office and I would simply tell them that the bullcrap has gone on long enough and it is going to STOP here today if they expect ANY help from the USA going forward.
