Trump is leading Biden 55% to 26% in the latest Presidential poll in Kentucky and all they did was re-elect the incumbent, so your conclusion is meritless.

You all who think KY has gone blue don't know much about the state but that's not surprising. KY has a long history electing Dem governors. Beasher's father was also a KY governor. Beshear is popular but not because he's a democrat. And he was reelected with the help of money from the DNC.
What you all are missing is every other position up for grabs statewide was won by republicans handily including the attorney general, secretary of state, state auditor and all the others. Republicans swept the state and also reelected Beshear.

KY has a republican veto proof majority in the state legislature. This is how it works. Beshear vetoes legislation and the legislature overrides his vetoes. This is the norm in KY. If Beshear starts playing dictator like he did during covid, the attorney general sues him to reel him in and bring him back to reality.

The state legislature fixed it so Beshear cannot appoint another senator in case McConnell steps down or dies without their approval.

Beshear has been and will be little more than a trophy piece. He's popular because of his looks and personality. He's a cheerleader for the state and actually good at that role. He runs around the state for photo opportunities and hands out money as if it's his.

KY has more republicans vs democrats now than when Beshear first took office 4 years ago, so no, KY is now redder not bluer. This is reality in KY.

Pretty much. To override a veto in Kentucky you only need 50 percent plus 1. There are currently 31 Republican senators and 7 Democratic ones. There are 80 Republicans in the state’s House and 19 Democrats. Those dreaming of a blue Kentucky should wake up. Not going to happen. I think the race does show that Beshear’s positions are way more mainstream than the very typical Republican ones taken by Cameron in the race. Even in dark red Kentucky, Democrats are actually more in line with where the majority is but the cartoons on MAGA media have people convinced that Democrats are all cross dressing Satan worshiping loons. When people get a chance to see a real Democrat up close though, they like what they see.

No, not at all. You don't understand KY politics if that's what you believe. Beshear is very popular, not for politics but for who he is. He is the most popular governor in the U.S.
If anything is surprising, it's that he won by only about 5 percent. A few weeks ago he led in the polls by 16 percent over his opponent.

I swear with election deniers everything is proof of fraud anytime a Republican loses. The Republicans ran a turd sandwich and lost? That’s impossible! Voters love eating our s—-! Fraud!

Beshear is just a good choice. The Republicans I talked to who didn’t vote for him were kind of wishing they could.

ROFL
People have seen a real democrat aka Marxist - his name is Joe Biden, and he's done such a great job that his approval rating is 37% right now.

Not because of KY. KY is still redder now than it was 4 years ago and isn't changing anytime soon.
