A just released PPP (http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/pdf/PPP_Release_Ohio_61708.pdf - broken link) poll of the state of Ohio has Obama up 11% at 50%-39%. Needles to say, winning Ohio would be an indication of a big Obama win. This could be an outlier or it could be beginning of something that will bring Obama the presidency.

Dig a little deeper.

Quote:
Q9 If you are a Democrat, press 1. If a
Republican, press 2. If other, press 3.
Democrat .................................................. ...... 55%
Republican........................................ .............. 30%
Other............................................. .................. 15%
Only 11! With a 25% margin that favors democrats. He's in serious trouble.

I was going to post this poll. But I thought I'd wait to see if any of the Obamatons posted it in all their gloating arrogance. This poll is good bait for y'all.

I love to knock a lib or two down a few notches.

Coming up with any excuse you can to try and account for McCain's poor polling numbers aren't you? I'm quite sure PPP's methodology accounts for any discrepancy between the respondent's respective party identifications.

You do realize, that while Obama can afford to lose Ohio, McCain can't.

Ahhh. I won't even say "nice spin", since that makes no sense at all. It is quite obvious, at least to those who can reason, that a poll with almost double the number of dems to republicans and almost 4 times the number of dems to "other" would be skewed to say the least.

I don't consider myself an Obamaton first of all. Just to get that out of the way. I just happened to dislike Hillary Clinton, who I now borderline hate. McCain is just a boring, uninspiring candidate, who is well past his prime. Maybe McCain 8 years ago would have interested me, but now, no.

I don't see McCain's numbers going anywhere but maybe down. He's old, stiff, non-inspirational, has run a tired campaign, non-charismatic, the list goes on and on...

This is Obama's election to lose, and that could very well happen. Basically if Obama loses it will be because he lost, not because McCain won.

This should be a cake walk for democrats....running against John McCain is like running against Bob Dole.

Have you seen the new MN poll - a much more valid one based on party affiliation of respondents. Of course, I know things like that don't matter to the Obamatons.
