I don't see his lack of "experience," as negative necessarily. It might be a positive. His lack of years in the political machine might be a good thing not a bad thing. He could possibly offer a fresh perspective on things that is sorely lacking.

Also what exactly qualifies as presidential qualifying experience? I have yet to hear a satisfactory answer to this question.

Guess this blows you loons idea of being old as a negative. I said it here, Obamas age will hurt him along with his lack of decision making skills, his age, poor judgement and inexperience is not what we need in the WH.

Keep tossing negatives at McCain, we got 5 to one back at Nobama.
and mccain is to old and corrupt. whats your point?

36. When you think about voting for president in November, which troubles you more -- John McCain's advanced age and number of years in Washington or Barack Obama's relative youth and inexperience? (ROTATE)

SCALE: 1. McCain's age and length of time in Washington 2. Obama's relative
youth and inexperience 3. (Both equally) 4. (Neither) 5. (Don't know)
McCain’s age Obama’s youth (Both) (Neither) (Don’t know)
17-18 Jun 08 31% 43 9 13 4
Democrats 44% 27 10 15 4
Republicans 16% 65 9 8 1
Independents 31% 38 11 16 4

You really do not have to be a statistician in order to be able to read and understand data. If 43% think is too young and inexperienced, that means (100% -43%) think he's neither too young nor inexperienced. Ohh, i forgot, 100-43 = 57, so that number is 57%. Step your game up if you wanna get some props!!!
Obviously, in your case you do need to be a statistician. 43% saying too young and inexperienced DOES NOT translate into 57% saying he's not. Duh!

Still, 50% of Colorado voters think Obama is too inexperienced to serve in the White House, but 42% disagree.
