Is Bush running in 08? I could have sworn this was the "2008 Presidential Election " forum.

Ya ya ya we know how clever people are for figuring out that bushCo isn't running....BUT elections are about the HISTORY of the party....what they have done...so it has a lot to do with the 2008 elections.

The President has little if no control over oil prices. Since the Democrats have taken control of Congress, gas prices have doubled again. They have done nothing to alleviate the rising prices.

These prices, in fact, have almost doubled since November of 2006. Gasoline prices rise after 3 month slump, survey* - Nov. 19, 2006

Those were the days, before the 109th congress was elected.

So the president has no control over the price of gas but congress does?

I'll never forget the tv images of President Bush holding hands with one of the top Saudi princes. It was a disgusting display of where the Bush family's real priorities are [not America but filling their own pockets with oil profits while American's suffer from the outrageous gas prices.

Is there anyone who has any respect for Bush?

LOOK AT HIM SLOBBERING ON HIS RICH SAUDI PARTNER!

'Never before in history has a president of the United States had such a close relationship with another foreign power as President Bush and his father have had with the Saudi royal family, the House of Saud. I have traced more than $1.4 billion in investments and contracts that went from the House of Saud over the past 20 years to companies in which the Bushes and their allies have had prominent positions -- Harken Energy, Halliburton, and the Carlyle Group among them.
