Who cares about the female, black, white, christian, rich, poor, Democrats, Independants, Conservatives, Liberals, FL, Iowa or whatever vote. How about someone who understands the economy? How about someone who will push McCain to end the war? Probably unrealistic, however its the ISSUES not the voter demographics that we should be concerned with.
I hope you dont believe Obama is some Economic expert.
That is why Presidents put Cabinents together. Hopefully they choose wisely.

Nope, absolutely not and that wasnt my point. My point is that VP selections should be about issues...not demographics and who can help you win a state...we need brains not bodies.

Dead on right! Brains.
Something Obama will need help with to make easy decisions.
Bobby Jindal and Sarah Palin, from looking at the records, would both make excellent, conservative choices. If McCain wants to reach out to the base, I'd be looking at these two.
Its funny that Tim Pawlentys name is even being thrown around. He won re-election by 1 percentage point after his competitor called someone a "republican w***e", and it would swing Minnesota to the point where McCain only moderately loses the state.

Biting my tongue as I slap my hands away from the keys.....soooo tempting but tooooo easy...
