Errr...there aren't very many democracies run by a black leader, period. In fact, the *only* black democracy I can think of is the aforementioned Botswana.

Of course it would be. God forbid people struggling and raising their kids thinking they could be something other than an athlete or entertainer to make it out of poverty. It's hard enough supporting those dreams let alone needing to support political aspirations? Let's not get crazy people.

Teach your children that dreams are for suckers. Forget writing speeches, you should be out writing lyrics. Forget shooting for the White House, shoot from three point land or better yet in a drive by.

Let's get black people together and vote against Barrack Obama. He just wants to bring the black race down....hell he isn't even 100%!!
But Obama's speeches are written by WHITE guys like Jon Favreau and David Axelrod! Obama is the product of very good clever packaging. Think of some of the great ad campaigns for Coca Cola, VW ("Drivers wanted") and other popular merchandise.

Obama is the product of having gone to Harvard and now having the intellectual elite of America as friends and supporters. Lots of smart people at:
Columbia University-undergrad
Harvard Law- grad
University of Chicago-faculty

I can't believe so many people missed the sarcasm here - I was laughing when I read the OP. I think there are a lot of people on here who post based on their interpretation of the title of the thread.

And it so irks me that people want to argue rather or not he's black. I've said it before and I'll say it again - if he was to break in your house you would not call the police and say "I'd like to report a robbery. He was a dark skinned man, but I don't think he was black. No, he was definitely biracial. If I had to guess I'd say he's half white and half Kenyan."

I'm sure on every government document his race is listed as black so if you don't like the labels they give us - take it up with the government. My paternal great-grandmother was Asian, but you don't see me walking around telling people "Well, I know I look black but I'm really not because my grandmother was Asian."

I don't understand this whole theory - first it was one drop of black blood made you colored- but now having a white mother means you're too diluted to be black?

Someone better call Halle Berry and tell her to stop claiming to the first black woman to get an Oscar.

Before we call Halle Berry, I've got to call Mariah Carey. The first time I ever realized she was a "black woman" was seeing her on the cover of Ebony as "the most misunderstood black woman in America."

She doesn't even look like a Latina. She looks like a airbrush tanned valley girl.
