His speech was more just empty rhetoric. Very weak. He's gonna lead the world from the brink of destruction!

Conservatives really need to stop the liberal media bias crap. Top 10 most listened to political talk show hosts are all pretty much conservative. WSJ and NY Post are two of Americas most read papers and are conservative. Fox news is the most watched "news" channel and thousands of conservative web sites. The mainstream media is all but dead in terms of influence. And why do you care about the "liberal media", why has it been bad for you. 8 years of Bush, two wars, 12 years of Republican control in congress, they have no influence and never really did.

You can keep a straight face while saying that? After the media spectacle of today?

It was a general speech that covered several broad topics. My only problem with it was his delivery was jumpy and too fast.

Go figure, one day you're a humble community organizer in the South side of Chicago and the next you're President of the World...err America.

I'll be quick and to the point. The American nation, from which I am descended, has been betrayed by its government and media and I can only feel a sense of deep hatred for what remains. May the gods blot this poor excuse for a country off the map by the end of the 21st century insofar as I'm concerned. Her people have surrendered their minds, and their political power, to an ideology of radical egalitarianism that they have come to assume from birth. No room is made for the classic notions of virtue and nobility in the minds of this polyglot vomit.

To those of you who are all too willing to become citizens of the world, along with your community organizer, all I have to say is "Go to Hell".
Well, I think you said it all and very well put I might add.

Well considering the one-sided, cheerleading media coverage it is no wonder they think what they do. I can see their excuse but what about the Obamatrons?

I think it was a good speech and I am glad that a prominent American politician (and likely future president) went to Europe and addressed our allies in the area. Despite what Rumsfeld and his ilk think, Europe is important and we do need their support.

And if you wonder why Europeans care so much about who is going to be president, all you have to do is look at Bush.
