Yet he gives an answer on what he would do "when" (which I laugh at) Osama Bin Laden is found:

Quote:
He told CNN's Wolf Blitzer, "We have various options. The Nuremberg Trials are certainly an example of the kind of tribunal that we could move forward with. I don't think we'd have any difficulty in devising an international -- internationally supported mechanism that would mete out justice. There's no problem there."

McCain said it would be a "good thing to reveal to the world the enormity of this guy's crimes, and his intentions, which are still there."
The hypothetical he would not comment on was if he would support an Israeli attack on Iran (much more controversial and damaging than saying the world's number one bad guy should be brought to justice and comparing his atrocities to the Holocaust which is a much safer thing to do) that he later brings up saying:

Quote:
"I can tell you this: The United States of America is committed to making sure that there is never a second Holocaust. That will be what I do as president of the United States."

Didn't he give an entire "hypothetical" speech about his first four years?

*...have to go dig that thing up*

He's the foreign policy expert and couldn't offer any clues?

Talk, talk, talk, just like another Republican now in the WH. It's now been 2503 days since Bush promised the American people that Osama bin Laden would be captured 'dead or alive.'

In any situation, a campaign to be President is 100% based around hypotheticals. You can only say what you are going to do "if" President. I know it's little, but things like this really make me feel Mccain is a moron (of course Obama is no better.)

I was seconds away from making this point, but was distracted.

Come now, children. This carries as much significance as BO mis-stating the number of states. It's petty.

Because so many of the threads under "2008 Presidential Election" are so important and powerful

I am just going with the nonsensical flow. I honestly wish people would post good things about THEIR candidate as opposed to trash about the other.....but then again that's politics.

Will he answer hypothetical questions about when he becomes president?
