I'm watching CNN and they're giving 3 times more coverage at least, than the Russians invading Georgia, about this and having "experts" and anlaysis about it. What the h e 2 hockey sticks?!
This is corporate media at it's worst. Republicans do similiar things (except for maybe Craig, but that's only because it was preverted) and barely a wimper goes out on CNN, MSNBC and FOX. Does anyone really think, besides die hard Republicans like Hannity or right wing hyper Christians that this really deserves even page 5 coverage?
McCain didn't admit and danced around his alleged deal with a lobbyist old enough to be his kid. That's one of the reasons why the coporate media almost left his story alone.Give Edwards a little bit of kudos for at least, even if he did not a first, admitting it.
This has very little to do with Edwards' politics. At least he's not calling his wife the C word.

It's not like there's a war breaking out between Russia and Georgia. It's not like there's serious economic issues going on across the pond in Europe. The dollar is climbing, oil and gold are falling, and the Euro is losing ground against the dollar. All good things for us, but we really need to be talking about how shocked we are to find out that a lawyer has lied.

You're kidding, right? At least the media gets this one right. They -- the NYTimes -- simply made up stories about McCain in an absolute, unsubstantiated smear a few months back.

As long as nothing interrupts Pelosi's democratic led five week summer vacation!

I actually think this scandal could have repercussions for McCain. The parallels are many when you consider how he betrayed his first wife, who is seriously disabled. I think it might bring that back into focus somewhat. How can you hang one guy for something and elect the other president? Hmmm...

It also may actually help Obama when he is compared to Edwards and McCain. He apparently didn't marry Michelle for money or her looks (if you are one of those who love to talk about how unattractive she is). By all outward appearances, they appear to genuinely care for one another and of course they have 2 cute kids, which never hurts.

But without a doubt, Edwards is scummy and I am sorry for his wife.

LOL, why do you think he announced it today? Politicians think the Olympics are a great distraction.

Oh good lord! They've been IGNORING the story for weeks. It's been ALL over the net, but still they don't see fit to at least investigate the story?

You can bet your house, if this had been a republican it would have been "Breaking News" the very hour that the National Enquirer first reported it.

They have displayed shameful bias in this case.

why do you think he admitted it...., because he wants to? No of course not....there was no way out and of course this speaks more to the people than Georgia which is so far away....and this is a guy who wanted to be the next president and told all of us how important family values are and he used his wifes cancer to his advantage so now he has to take this as a man and can't hide it.
