While she's honest and admits to smoking pot she would still throw people in jail for it. By her standard she should have a criminal drug record for her pot use.
I don't think this is a big deal, but . . . if that was Michelle Obama what would your response have been?

I don't know. Is it any worse than Obama admitting to blowing lines?

I think its just something to accept (or not accept). A great number of people over the age of 30 have used drugs of some sort, mostly in college. Obama, Palin, Clinton, Bush... probably many more. If you can't vote for someone who ever used an illegal substance, you can't vote these days.

Cocaine and pot are two totally different drugs.
Yes, yes, I know, GWB did coke too; doesn't mean I supported him.

I don't disagree with you (about them being different drugs), but I do think its something we (as a country) are going to have to face - that our leaders have experimented. However, can you please point to an arrest record or some other proof of Obama dealing cocaine?
No I dont think its something we will have to face. I know alot of good kids on great paths to success who dont use drugs or alcohol at all. I dont think everyone who runs for office from this day forward will have a history of illegal drug use. If they do they better have the good sense to be discreet

Palin smoking pot is the first thing I like about her.
