If President Clinton couldn't define the meaning of "is," how can any of us (aside from moderator TnHillTopper perhaps) come to any kind of consensus on the meaning of "garbage" in this context?

I know--garbage post of mine. Guilty as charged!

Default The field dressing of Joe Biden...

Except for voting for a 3rd party, I agree entirely. I was going fishing but have now canceled that trip and will now be at the polls in November. However, except for the panic posting over the Sarah Palin pick I saw here on C-D, I guess I missed much of the media's dishonesty and sexism as ABC, CBS and NBC haven't been in my home since 1984.

A mom who hunts and fishes as VP is great. I'm betting she can also gut and field dress ol' Joe Biden the Washington insider in a debate.

Well it doesn't matter what I edit, delete, warn, etc... because not everyone is going to be happy. Moderate too much and I am a fascist oppressing free speech and stifling conversation. Moderate too little and its complete carnage.

Much as the Supreme Court ruled on pornography, "I cannot define it exactly, but I know it when I see it".

Anyway, back to the topic at hand...

Yes Sarah Palin and the arrival of the height of the political cycle has cause this forum to surge in its level of postings.

If nothing else, she's probably the most polarizing figure in presidential politics since Bill Clinton in 1992. There's really no middle ground.

We're away on an extended vacation and thank heaven we have TV!!! I watched the Convention last night with hope in my heart and a smile on my face.

Rudy got the crowd going with a remarkable and heart felt speech and Sarah Palin knocked it out of the park. Like Chris Matthews before me, I felt that tingle.

I am not awed by much, but I love this woman! Won't be on the internet enough to read too much CD, but had to get on just to weigh in.

John McCain picked the right woman. Watch out, Democrats!

I didn't watch her speech last night but seeing how the bull was flying around here this morning against her it must have been great.

Catch it on Youtube. It's worth it. Rudy's too.

Kudos to them for calling out every SHAM FAIRYTALE MYSTIQUE surrounding the manufactured phony man candidate that is Barack "I love myself" Obama that frustrated me throughout the primaries!

Well some of you will appreciate this; it's the Palin-Obama Comparison Chart (http://texasdarlin.wordpress.com/2008/09/01/palin-obama-comparison-chart/ - broken link). Enjoy.

Look, half of my posts are utter nonsense. I am not alone. Don't be so impressed by the numbers.
