Obama did have a hand in writing his speech. The majority of Palin's speech was written before she was even selected (true story). Obama taught law at the University of Chicago. Palin looks vacant to me- the same look I see in the average dental hygenist.
Obama doesn't write his own speeches. Hillary helps him with them as well as Ted and Bill. The Dem party actually reviews the speeches before he makes them.

Obama DOES write his own speeches and does NOT use a prompter to scroll the speech. The only thing that he uses it for is for his OUTLINE- his words are his own.
