Biden lost his wife in a tragic accident and you losers accuse him of lying.
I know...like this has anything to do with the capability of running the country...Lets harp on the fact he had a death close to him... I am just loving the repub moral standards here....

This thread is SO heartless. The man lost a loved one. Maybe he did try to pin the other driver. I don't know anyone who wouldn't try to assign fault. You feel like you need someone to be held responsible.
What an underhanded way to attack a man about something SO personal with no effect on his policy or way he leads. This from the same people who get upset when some question whether Palin is making good mommy choices.
The reason is the axiom :

Underhanded? He said it right? The BIDEN campaign went on a nasty personal assault on her personal family business including her 17 year old immediately.
The BIDEN campaign official representatives made slanderous assertions of supporting Nazi sympathizers that were corrected by the source but the campaign refused to retract it's assertions. And several more.
The BIDEN campaign's large supporter US WEEKLY right away OVER THE WEEKEND got out a slanderous libelous inaccurate nasty magazine with her picture on it with the words :Babies, Lies and Scandal.
When the US WEEKLY put out an OBAMA story with this heartwarming photo of the OBAMAS and "Why He Loves Her"..."she shops at Target".
Yesterday Biden even called her the Lieutenant Governor. ANY sneaky "misstatement" cheap shot is fine then?
Or should just the people against you lay down and put up with it. The entire media except Fox is campaigning for OBAMA. Even Tom Brokaw had to chastize Matthews and Oberman and Oberman called for him to be fired over it.

Why would Biden accuse this guy of driving while drunk, especially after the investigation said he wasn't? Just to embellish his story and garner more sympathy?

I highly doubt he was using the drunk thing to garner more sympathy. His wife dying in a crash is more than enough alone. In a lot of these cases there is confusion as to whether the driver was drunk, etc. Its very common. Especially considering this happened in the 70's.
The story is ginning up a lot of interest in the blogosphere and MSM. Good to see.
