What? She said we're going to go to war with the state of Georgia? Wow! And did "ya" know that they kin actually SEE Russia from up thar in Alaska?! So that's pretty skeery, don't ya think? They might decide to shoot a nucular weapon over at us. Let's give her a break on Bush Doctrine....she didn't get to that chapter yet. That's next week.
Seriously, I'm watching the MSNBC replay of the real 9/11....I can only shake my head that this cocky beauty queen, deer in the headlights on this interview, could very likely be the leader of our nation some day.
Meanwhile, as the American media focuses on lipstick and a failed Bush Doctrine, Russian bombers have arrived in Venezuela and our ambassador has been kicked out.
A bit of an exaggeration there, don't you think? You kind of skipped the NATO issue there:
Palin said she "definitely" supports a U.S. strategic alliance with Ukraine and Georgia because "the Rose Revolution, the Orange Revolution, those actions have showed us that those democratic nations, I believe, deserve to be in NATO."
The U.S. needs to strengthen NATO because it "is the group that can be counted upon to defend one another in a very dangerous world today," Palin said.
She added that the U.S. must be "vigilant" against potential Russian aggression and she would support future "economic sanctions perhaps" against Moscow.
"It doesn't have to lead to war and it doesn't have to lead . . . to a Cold War, but economic sanctions, diplomatic pressure, again, counting on our allies to help us do that in this mission of keeping our eye on Russia and (Russian Prime Minister Vladimir) Putin and some of his desire to control, and to control much more than smaller democratic countries."
Putin's "mission, if it is to control energy supplies, also, coming from and through Russia, that's a dangerous position for our world to be in, if we were to allow that to happen," Palin said.
That chick is crazy and ignorant (Ossetia and Abkhazia anyway historically were never pert of Georgia, only the Georgian Stalin made it so) and, yes, stalinist.
What should we await realistically from a former beauty queen ?
And what is her EXPERIENCE? has she attended meetings with leaders overseas, has she even visited the U.N. ...WHY ARE WE SUPPOSED TO TAKE HER COMMENTS AT FACE VALUE?.
I really want to know what she has done, not in Alaska, but with other countries....
What has Obama done with other countries until his world tour?
