You have friends with families that need jobs. So you're willing to admit the current system doesn't work but shirk all responsibility for the Liberal Socialist Republicans who created the environment?

Just give us a list of ten things the Senator has done for the Average Citizen.
You're fighting a losing battle- it's all because of the Democrat-controlled congress of the past two years- not because of Bush, the policies of the previous 6 years, the war, or anything else, remember????

Why are people voting for this bozo again?
One reason is that the Republicans, with their push for deregulation of all sectors of business, have given us the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression.

It is only by government stepping in and bailing out Wall Street (at a potentially huge huge cost to the taxpayer) that we aren't in a financial market free-fall right now.

People tend to notice mismanagement like this...

And taxes on the well-to-do should go up!!!

If you think you can tie Bush with McCain you are sadly mistaken yourself.

So, if you want to play that game, you just gave the answer above.

600,000 jobs in the last few month and who has control of the congress, yup, you got it, DEMOCRATS.

Give me a list of ONE thing Obama has done for the average person other then steal their money and build a gazebo for 100k.

Here is what an Obama house looks like under his economy

Maybe because Dubya has provided trillions in tax cuts to the rich and subsidies to huge corporations, but unemployment is still skyrocketing.

Anyone who believes Democrats control Congress is not paying attention.
Democrats have a one person majority and a 60% majority is required in order to get anything passed. Repulicans still control congress. So - by your own definition, the loss of 600,000 jobs is the fault of the Republicans.

Correlation does not equal causation. I know this is news to people who are using very simplistic levels of thinking to try to understand this issue.

I am sick of liberals being so stupid to think he wont raise taxes on us. He will raise all taxes, called hidden taxes so make up for your lack of knowing about them, everything under the sun will be taxed even more.

And, who cares about taxes when of the country wont have a pay to check to buy anything under his plan.

His 250k plan is a bogus well planned scam and you are falling for it.

Obama has NEVER voted against a single tax hike, ever.
Exactly. It is insane to buy into the myth that an Obama administration won't raise taxes, and significantly, on the middle class. The dems trying to sell this as a revenue stream from the $250+ crowd is the big lie.

Unfortunately, both parties are guilty of growing gov't . . . . but an Obama admin would be an explosive growth in entitlements and big gov't from the most liberal senator to ever take the WH. And teamed with two very liberal senate/house leaders.

You look through life with some bleak lenses. . . The economy has had solid growth throughout the past 7 years. It's only been since the Pelosi and company took over that things have begun to cool off but still growth.

But I'll agree, if things are this bad and terrible for you, and you feel the solution is just more taxes and bigger gov't, Obama is your man.

Both parties are at fault, this has been going on for a while.
Again, there is nothing unique in his plan, where's the change?
