Some on here keep the rumor alive the he'll dump her for Romney, or Guiliani, or Libby Dole, or Kay Bailey Hutchison. I'm here to tell you the newest speculation is that they're meeting today to try to get Tina Fey on the ticket.

If nothing else they'll pull a "Dave" (the movie) stunt at least through Thursday's VP debate.

Tina Fey, bright, well educated, advanced on her own merits without throwing her political allies under the bus. Probably also qualified to deal with the UN since "she can see it from 30 Rock". (OP's note-30 Rock is not only the name of a top ranked, Emmy winning TV show, it's also the vernacular address of NBC, #30 Rockefeller Center).

It just might give them a chance.

Maybe McCain could go to home depot and find a nice, shiny doorknob to replace Palin. At least the doorknob won't be able to speak...That's gotta be what, at least a 200% improvement over Palin. I would guess too, the doorknob probably has a higher IQ.

McPalin is a racist. If he had any sense he should've selected Condi. She's a woman, she's experienced and she's black. But it's because she's black that he never selected her. He's a racist.

She wouldn't have helped to garner any black votes, because black people are so racist that they wont look past their beloved Obama and his skin color.

Nice try, I dont think McCain is racist. But you sure are.

When Palin has the answers McCain retracts them for her, how chauvinistic is that?
CNN Political Ticker: All politics, all the time - Blogs from CNN.com
WASHINGTON (CNN)— Sen. John McCain retracted Sarah Palin's stance on Pakistan Sunday morning, after the Alaska governor appeared to back Sen. Barack Obama's support for unilateral strikes inside Pakistan against terrorists

No way he would (or should)have selected Condi.

You see, McSame is having trouble distancing himself from his good friend George W. Bush, and with Condi on the ticket, who is a sock puppet for the neocons, it would have been like deliberately running on the ticket committed to "4 more years"
