When a reporter asked if McCain was direclty involved in brokering this deal the GOP response was, "John McCain has been calling in".

hahahahahahaha

I thought he was going to STAY UNTIL THIS THING WAS WORKED OUT.

That's not what he said at all. McCain IS there.

The phone calls he is making are to encourage support for the bill from fellow republicans. Boehner said McCain's assistance was crucial to the original bill being changed (including eliminating all the crap Pelosi and crew had in it) and that without McCain's participation the dems would have 'run me over'. there was no deal before McCain came to town, other than in the imaginations of Reid, Dodd, Frank and Pelosi.

BO is the one phoning it in....try to keep up.
