Polling has become very sophisticated and scientific. You can read all about statistical sampling at may websites. The results are quite reliable at any given time, the only thing you can't factor in scientifically is whether people are being honest.

This is one area I can't even begin to guess at. I am just waiting to hear it - and then to see the backlash on here about it when it is done.

Look for a terrorist threat in mid to late October. Consider it W's parting gift to McCain.

Very true..and although they are not always right, they mostly are. During the 2004 Kerry/Bush election the polls had Bush a little but ahead of Kerry and that was the outcome.

You dems are a bunch of blood thirsty idiots. Believe me, I can attack your candidate in a variety of ways, but choose not to.

How in any way did I cause this attack? What the he#@ did I say to deserve a stupid comment like that? Get a life!

Ahhh, who gives a flying f*&k, if either Obama or McCain wins? Whoever wins will still be a lapdog to the Wall Street thugs. Do you really think either of them care about YOU?

34 days is still plenty of time for a few surprises. IMO, McCain will jump ahead in the polls at least one more time. Ultimately, Obama will win but it will be close.
