First of all its clear that bigots and rednecks will not cost him the election because Obama did win the primary to become the nominee. Many bigots in states like West Virginia and Ohio and really all over the country voted for Hillary Clinton. They didnt have enough power to stop Obama then. Why? because of Obama's strategy. Obama knew that he would face racism in this election so he started a MASSIVE voter registration campaign to register millions of totally new voters that would support him. Obama even has buses in key states thats transporting college students to places so they can register to vote. Obama has also energized the youth and African-Americans. Obama has raised a record amount of dollars yet we dont really see on the surface alot of that money being spent. I think the Obama campaign is reserving alot of that money for an "election day strategy" It would not surprise me if Obama has a plan to use buses all over the country to get people to the polls. Obama is also using technology. Everyone who he has registered including many Obama supporters will get text messages telling people to get come out and vote for Obama. I think the huge turn out for Obama will over take the number of democrats voting for McCain because they dont want to vote for a black man. Also keep in mind there are more registered democrats nationwide than republicans and the independents and undecides are breaking for Obama. Obama is running a really smart campaign, probabally the smartest of any campaign a presidential candidate has ever run.

For a person that continually likes to cry “racism” and “bigot”, you sure like to throw the word “rednecks” around.

BUT he still won the primary. three of the states you listed will never vote for a democrat in the election regardless of race although Indiana has become a toss up state for the first time since the 1960s, Obama is ahead in Pennsylvainia and he has a slight lead in Ohio according to some polls.

John McCain can lose because of his race.

you are allowed to use racial slurs if you are a minority. democrats only hate white men, and they can call them whatever they want and it's not considered insulting.

I agree. He's built a great team around him and run a VERY SMART campaign.
He COULD still lose of course, but it's increasingly unlikely. Time is running out and the momentum is on his side.
