I was checking Realclearpolitics and for the first time, all the polls show Obama ahead of McCain. Do you think Obama already won or is there a possibility for McCain to come back? If so, how would that be accomplished?

McCindy will be changing VPs next week. McCindy will get a wee bounce out of the change but the erratic McCindy will never win.

McCain can still win - but I don't think he will. I think his position will continue to erode and Obama's to strengthen.

If Mccain uses the Fannie Mae/Obama stuff and the democrats management of the current economic crisis effectively, then he can put a pretty strong message out there. I don't think he will have the ammunition or the public trust to out-manouvre Obama. If he does do it well then he could pull back pretty close.. but I think even then, Obama will just about squeeze accross the finish line.

Well... considering that his VP of choice was a big no-no that have Rep wanting her to step down? Not a good sign but the fact is having her drop out and picking a new VP at this point would be catastrophic because it would mean he made an error in judgement and if he can blunder on this big of a choice how can he be trusted with even bigger issues?
The fact that when a meeting was assembled to discuss the financial crisis situation he attended but only to remain silent? I am aware that Senator Obama was the only one to speak, not a good sign, either you are or aren't on board. The fact that he stated he was suspending his campaign to take issues on first hand? Was a twist of truths if you will, truth is he cancelled his ads for 72 hours and still did campaigning in D.C. another lie. He seems unsure of Palin and this was evident by the way he coddled her on her second interview with Couric, he seemed to smile a fake plastic smile and had a look of uncertainty when she did speak, he was rude and kept answering for Palin and kept interrupting Couric when she was asking valid questions of Palin. This facade was easy to see through, he is aware that his pick backfired and was attempting to do damage control in the wrong way. So as to him beating Obama? Who knows, I hope not.

With 4.5 weeks to go, it now looks like this election is rapidly slipping away from Mccain.
