Are you sick of picking the lesser of two evils? Are you sick of the patronizing politicians in Washington? Are you sick of the media bias in this country? Are you sick of the same lines politicians talks about instead of the real issues and real solutions?
The politicians should be working for us, for this country, and not for the corporations or for themselves.
We need a real change! Vote for the independent candidates you support!
I think lots of people are sick of the lesser of two evils. this two candidates are pathetic. hopefully a record number of people will vote 3rd party to send a message. I like jesse ventura's idea of having "none of the above" as an option.
I think "sending a message" has validity, but given the situation of our country right now, this election is too important to effectively throw away your vote on a 3rd party candidate.
Don't worry...I'll be voting for a third party candidate. I am tired of voting for the lesser of two evils. Nope, I will not be throwing my vote away either. At least I'll be able to sleep at night!
says the fear mongering liberals! give me a break. the only throw away vote is the one not cast. this is the most important election since the 2004 election, and we are given the exact same candidate with different packaging.

With all due respect for all opinions, in view of the utter mediocrity of the two candidates, both party hacks, this is one of the least important presidential elections.
These elections, in their entirety, are important because they may play a role in whether the US undergoes the structural changes that it needs.
Part of this structural change starts with voting third party.

caution! Independent voting steals votes from the lesser evil ..sometimes!!
Well, I honestly don't see what voting for a fringe candidate will do to end "patronizing politicians," "media bias," or the same old lines. I mean, it's not like the other party candidates aren't politicians, as well! In fact, some of them are actually lobbyists or one-issue candidates -- that's worse!
Don't get me wrong, as an Independent, I wish we had more parties and more choices. But there has to be a commitment to building more viable parties and this would take some masterful politicking by powerful individuals who know how to mobilize the grassroots.

Ross Perot in 1992. His candidacy had positive practical consequences in the 1994-2000 period.
If more people vote third party this year it may encourage another Ross Perot, hopefully even better, to come forward in the next 2-4 years, or a game-changer within one of the two parties.
