"I don’t need lessons about telling the truth to American people, and were I ever to need any improvement in that regard, I probably wouldn’t seek advice from a Chicago politician." John McCain

Amen to that.

My other favorite this election cycle is from Huckabee:
"I'm not a Republican because I grew up rich, but because I didn't want to spend the rest of my life poor, waiting for the government to rescue me."

This coming from someone who claims to have supported George McGovern--of all people--for president?

Let me guess: McCain campaign pays you a nickel for every post.

Yep, Amen.

I really like Huckabee too. I laughed when he was talking about the bailout. He said "The people who were in charge of Thanksgiving dinner burned the turkey, and now they are asking if they can fix Christmas dinner and we're saying 'No thanks.'" LOL!

McCain perhaps doesn't seek advice but he may want to try it seeing that those giving him advise well..don't seem to be able to help. Seen the polls

McGovern-Nixon-McGovern-Nixon....that was a difficult choice.

No, I just really appreciate that I will have the opportunity to vote for John McCain, a man who actually has a resume.

Can you libs do anything but hurl insults at people who have decided not to vote for Obama? It's immature and it's getting really old.

Yet another quote out of context and another poster with little ability to comprehend what was being said. Now, there's a surprise.

Immaturity, ignorance, fear: a lethal combination.
