I've been concerned for months. I want to vote early, but I keep thinking "this gives the GOP more time to steal my vote."

After all, I live in Florida. I remember in 2000 when they tried to blame senior citizens for being senile and not knowing how to vote. I remember in 2000 and 2004 when police officers were lined up in racially mixed areas to hassle & scare minorities. I remember being told that I'd be condemned and burn in hell if I didn't support Bush. These words weren't just uttered by Palin's former pastor. They were preached by fanatical ministers in churches and repeated by religious extremists.

Obama is way ahead in Florida at this time, so we can only pray that the strong republican force that rules this state won't violate our rights again.
