Now it's true the just because you fill out the paper work to purchase a weapon some still don't buy right, I mean if I go thru all that paper work maybe I will have a change of heart....

Really for 2011 over 1 million back ground checks by the FBI per month, at least gun stores are doing okay..... Over 9 million checks in 7 month for 2011 who is worried.....

Yep but the data is from this month, so people are still buying guns, that means some people do not expect this to get better. If you look at the data for 2009, 2010 and the first 7 months of 2011 a lot of guns are being pruchased and over 1 million per month in 2011 that's what the economy has done. People don't feel the police can react fast enough anymore and are deciding to protect themselves and loved ones.
