They all hated McCain during the primaries, so expect them to start bashing him again after he gets his but kicked in the elections. LOL

Well, as I said before, there will be a blood bath in the GOP once the magnitude of their loss next month sets in.

Not picking on the GOP, that's just a political reality and often happens when these sort of blow out elections occur.

I am of course assuming the blow out occurs, but on the other hand, I'm pretty confident it WILL happen.

It seems true. John McCain is about to become the Jimmy Carter of the GOP.

McCain's biggest mistake was choosing Palin as a VP canidate and people think Obama isn't qualified to be President!

It goes back to McCain's judgement factor. He did not vett her. Then, the campaign constantly (even now) tries to muzzle her - acknowledging there is a serious issue. I have never seen an election where the VP candidate only seeks Fox news. His suspension of the campaign to help economy was another joke. Then you have the crazy fans openly spewing hatred - although, today McCain says he is now running a kindler, gentler campaign (yeah right!).

A larger problem with the Rep party is that so many people complain it simply got hijacked by the religious fanatics - witchcraft-believing Wingnut Palin is a poster child of this. The fiscal responsibility promised by Reps also turned out to be a joke. Knowledge is frowned upon as is science. It may be easy to blame only McCain, but I think there are many other issues Republicans need to deal with.
