I posted a link to it yesterday but I don't know exactly where is. You could probably find it searching google. It said that Obama at a rally told his supporters not to be so cocky; that the election has not been won yet.
He mentioned this in his speech today. He talked about how the polls had him way ahead in New Hampshire during the primaries and at the end of the day he lost. He wants his supporters not to get to cocky and complacent.
I love when good threads on this board about issues are started they sink to the bottom, and sink fast. But threads like this that are just a very lame stereotype of people nobody even knows end up getting 12 pages.
The article is referring to deep pocketed NEW YORK supporters. I don't think all his supporters with money in NY are cocky. So the title of this thread is misleading. I also do not believe all McCain supporters are ignorant and racist. This is too diverse of a country to make a blanket comment about everyone. And if I were cocky I would not be driving to Columbus next week to help out the campaign. So I disagree with article, but I am not a deep pocketed New York Obama supporter and I cannot speak for them.
read my quote. I was just stating that the OP should post it when he started the thread. What is your problem?
So now you have the link. That's what you have been screaming about for the last umpteen posts, that you want a link. Now you have it. Are you going to read it and comment, or just find something else to complain about now?
Even Obama recognizes the cockiness of his supporters. Good grief.
We're just putting on our game face.
