Oh good grief. If you search Google for Obama and cocky you will find all kinds of articles NOT talking about New York. The OP simply made the point that OBAMA told his supporters not to get cocky. The OP wasn't talking about New York or any other specific place, just that Obama said it. And he hasn't only said it in one place; it sounds like that is what he is saying to his supporters everywhere. Try to stay on topic, please.
