I'll go out on a limb and say his wife is black because that's who he happened to fall in love with.

Maybe for the same reason McCain is surrounded by white people. Maybe not?

Uh, mostly white people are voting for him? Mostly, America is white? Mostly, he also has a variety of ethnicities behind him?

All of the above?

Exactly what answer are you fishing for?

Probably because the majority of people in the audience at his rallies (and the population, in general) are white. Do you not agree that when the majority of people at your rallies are white, it makes more sense that the majority of people standing behind you are white, as well? What would you think if the majority of people standing behind him were black, even though the majority of other rally audience members were white? Wouldn't that be a little odd?

Are you suggesting that Obama should intentionally encourage increased representation of minority-group members (ie employ affirmative action) when choosing who stands behind him, within the camera's view, at his rallies?

I feel like puking when I read racist posts, I would absolutely love for one of the posters to come up to me on the street and admit who they are. Of course that would never happen because these types of people are nothing but weasels.

He doesn't. Your title is a lie.

I have seen him giving speeches and the crowd behind him is mixed.
