Yes, I noticed that, and it seems to be a "normal" phenomena all over the country now. What I think is happening is that about half of the "likely" Republican voters, really are not interested in McCain as president, the other half are really "turned off" by Palin.
I think it's probably because the average age of the McCain supporter is 86, and the average Palin supporter can't figure out the way to the rallies.
