Opportunity -after 8 years of the GOP there is about none left

freedom-We have been less free under Bush/McCain policies than our country ever has been.

free competition-In the GOP everything is owned and run by enormous Business.

free markets-Free to send over seas.

independence-Please

individualism-You are right. With born-again Neo Cons in the Supreme court Americans lost all the individualism they have ever had.

individual responsibility-Same thing. Take away all American rights for their own decisions. Neo-cons make me sick

smaller government-must forget the Goverment has been bigger than ever with Bush in office. The old idea of small local government is the republican party is as old as John McCain.

lower taxes. If you make under 250 than yes. But for majority on this board. This is a no.

Oh well, Papa Smurf will get at least 1 vote ... so it won't be a complete Obama landslide.
Good work.

I know strong leadership is intimidating. Tough times need tough leadership. Europeans may prefer to weakly recoil in the face of tough times, but the U.S. is a deeply assertive place that confronts problems directly.

Don't get me wrong, although I gag at the notion of "spreading the wealth around," I think Obama is a good-natured talented person. However, we cannot risk a Jimmy Carter part II with anti-growth economic policies and a naive/weak foreign policy.
