This is what life will be like with an Obama Presidency. "Big Brother" watching your every move, and investigating the lives of dissenters.

It has been found that this woman, director of a State Agency in Ohio is behind the probe into the background of "Joe the Plumber", after his question to Obama a few weeks ago.

Helen Jones-Kelly, director of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services is the person responsible for the investigation of "Joe the Plumber". Helen Jones-Kelly is a maximum donor ($2500) to the Obama campaign, according to the Columbus Dispatch. Ohio Inspector General, Thomas P. Charles, is looking into the matter to determine if at least four probes done on State computers were legal.

Helen Jones-Kelly, in her defense, says such background checks are normal and "not unusual".

"Our practice is when someone is thrust quickly into the public spotlight, we often take a look," she said. "Our practice is to basically look at what is coming our way", she said. Say, what????

Thrust into the "public spotlight" and expect a background check by the State of Ohio?

All Ohioans should be concerned about this. Governor Ted Strickland, a DEMOCRAT, claims this was not "politically motivated"

Yeah, right, Ted. We really believe that.

These people need to be tossed out on their "behinds" as quickly as possible.

And this comes on the heels of the Ohio Secretary of State being involved in the corruption of the election process in Ohio with the "early voting" mess, along with ACORN, where she refused to act to check the validity of ballots, charging that Republicans were just trying to "suppress Democrat votes". She was ordered by a judge to do whatever it takes to check these ballots, but that order was overturned (are we surprised?).

Liberalism is destroying our country.

You haven't been paying attention the last couple of years have you? No Fly watch lists, full body Xray machines, an active military unit at the ready to put down riots in violation of the constitution, expanded powers of the IRS to share citizen information with other federal agencies, etc. etc.

It is a taste of what is coming.
How many people are concerned about our rights being ripped away, and then this bull shi* excuse of a man asking a question, and then he dared to disagreed with THE ONE!!
Obama is such a slime.

What you are talking about has to do with tracking our enemies and keeping us safe from further attack. You might remember that those that flew the planes on 9/11 were right here in our owm country. They didn't just arrive on that day.

It's important that we have the means to identify and track these people (typically they are middle easterners).

"Joe the Plumber" is your average citizen. Nothing suspicious about him. He asked a question at an Obama ralley; and suddenly he's under investigation by the Obama camp.

Sorry, but it's not the same thing. You lose.

I want to know what triggered the investigation. This citizen was playing football on his lawn with his son, when Obama decided to canvas in his neighborhood. What was this man supposed to do?

I'll bet $500.00 to the Obama campaign that she's African American...

You're absolutely right that Joe has nothing to do with the purpose of what those laws were intended for however this is an unintended side effect of what those laws allow.

I think we should be able to pay close attention to what our enemies are doing but that's not what the law provides. It provides a much broader set of monitoring to be in place and be legal.

It's a classic example of intent vs. practice.

Because the Obama defense when it's challenged with uncomfortable questions is to discredit the questioner or source by any means necessary, and when you have the liberal media in your pocket, it's a pretty easy task. When Obama was tongue-tied during the third debate when Joe the Plumber was mentioned, no time was wasted in finding any dirt they could on this guy..."Oh he's not a REAL plumber." "He owes x amount in back taxes." Anyone ask a question or challenge his Highness Obama and suddenly YOU must defend yourself. Suddenly it's the deflect and blame game.....shed light on this dubious character who dare ask the Messiah questions. It's fricken sick. Discredit the Florida journalist who put Biden on the spot. Summons your henchmen to Alaska to sift through dumpsters to find dirt on Palin, yet he is so above the law that he can't submit a valid birth certificate, the list of his relations and associations with dubious characters and organizations continues to accumulate. The LA Times won't release the information regarding another tie he has with some Pakastani jokster. Yes, Obama DOES make Bush look good. Real damned good.
