I will admit that I was surprised to this posted in the Entertainment thread; although I am not sure where it would be better suited. Not in politics as this is not political; and I hope no one would see the passing of a life well lived as entertainment, we do mention the passing of well known persons and their families in the Celebrity thread and no one blinks and eye.

Just last week there was a posting on the death of Jennifer Hudson's nephew. As I remember most posters offered condolences. On this thread, quite the opposite is true. Some of the posters have been so venomous and spiteful, and yet in many cases they are ones decrying the evils of abortion and stem cell research as destroying life. I find this deeply disturbing. Seems to me you have your priorities somewhat skewed if you cannot be respectful and mourn the passing of a human life. Shame on you; mother always said, if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.
