Some people here in miami say that the new president will be announced the day after the elections, .

frankly there was a dismal showing in candidates this year.

I keep asking myself "Is this the BEST these parties can come up with?"

out of all of them I would have preferred ... man ... Huckabee I guess

I think he would have done the very least damage of all the candidates that ran.

Sorry, but that's already been done...by Mr. George W. Bush and company.

It's going to be a long, arduous, painful clean up for a few years to come regardless of who's in office.

I am soooooooooooooo glad the election is here! Maybe all the republican whiners will shut up for a day or two! In the first comment it was said whoever wins will have to sit back and let Dubya finish his term. One thing I liked when Daddy Bush served after Clinton defeated him was that, as the end of his Presidency approached, he had President-Elect (at that time) with him at press conferences and some meetings. I thought that was a good move.
