Conservative Platform for 2012 (Ron Paul, NAFTA, unemployment, Congress)

2. Secure borders no amensty
3. Remove the federal income tax.
4. Repeal Nafta, Cafta and WTO
5. Leave the UN.
6. Remove all the executive orders of George W bush and most presidental orders.
7. Return to sound money and balance the budget
8. 700 billion dollar bailouts are removed and paulsons auth.
9. Remove the IRS and the CIA needs oversight.
10. Stop all tax dollar foreign aid.
11. Reduce all federal government by 50%.
12. Remove homeland security
13. Make SS optional for anyone under 40 (opt out option)
14. Remove the Federal Reserve system and interest rate price fixing.
15. Obey the constitution strictly.
16. Phase out welfare within 15 years.

See I thought it was more like "Hope like hell the U.S. becomes a 3rd world country so then we can say SEE!!! WE TOLD YOU SO!!!" Of course at that point our once great nation would be lying in ruins, but perhaps you could take solace in the fact that your point was proved.

Higher taxes on everyone because you realize you can't afford your programs just by taxing the "rich"
Higher taxes on Gas - "for the environment"
Higher taxes on milk, and food for the environment.
Banning all Guns
"Free" Healthcare - while we know ITS NOT FREE
Contining the failed foreign policies of clinton and bush and intervention.
Past Examples being Somila, bosnia, iraq, etc
Government control of Oil Companies.. (Nationalize)
Government control of banks (nationalize)
Somehow Government is going to "create jobs"
Which means create more government and programs that dont work.

Basically the BUSH platform with some extra taxes and socialism.
Maybe you can come up with something other then the words hope and change and explain what the change and or hope is. You know actual policy discussions and DETAILS!!!

I'm all for avoiding unjust wars, but #1 is just silly.

#2 is easier said than done.

#3 is a bad idea.

#4 is a GREAT idea. I'm fully behind that one.

#5 is a colossally bad idea.

Sound like Ron Paul or some Libertarian. While I agree with some of that, you need social services and support for mothers and children AND healthcare FOR EVERYONE or you will have untold amounts of abortions and people starving and dieing from treatable things.. then your workers wont be able to work, people will declare bankruptcy to pay for med bills, lose their houses and economy will collapse again.

Actually, agreed, except for the part of about the WTO. We can't "repeal" a world body. The best we can do is remove ourselves from it. Not only that, but why would we? Don't we need a say in global economic policy?

I'm pretty sure that every president reviews all standing executive orders, and rescinds the ones that are no longer appropriate. So what you are asking for already happens.

Which constitution? The one that was originally drafted? Or the one that has been amended by the people and interpreted by the courts? The one that was originally drafted did not count black people or women as citizens. The one that has been amended by the people and interpreted by the courts is the one we have today, and we already follow it pretty strictly.

Get back to what ronald reagan began. Make the deficit and cutting governamnt spending a priority . Get back more to basic governamnt services and make people more reaponsible before we see it get lkess than the present 31% providing the funding for governamnt.otherwsie the future is downhill as a country.
