Obama preached, "You have an obligation to those who are less fortunate.
You have that debt to pay to all those who helped you get to where you are today."
Obama preached, "But it’s also important that a president speaks to military obligation not just of some, but of many. You know, I traveled, obviously, a lot over the last 19 months. And if you go to small towns, throughout the Midwest or the Southwest or the South, every town has tons of young people who are serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. That’s not always the case in other parts of the country, in more urban centers. And I think it’s important for the president to say, this is an important obligation. If we are going into war, then all of us go, not just some."
Why is Obama controlling people's lives? What happened to freedom to choose in America? Everything is an OBLIGATION to this guy.
Hang on to your freedom because you only have 2 months and 1 week to enjoy your freedom then Obama becomes President.
Notice the republicans are desperate. They know they're going to lose. You guys had eight years and you screwed up. It's our turn now to get this country back on track.
The trouble is, in this country, people want all the freedoms WITHOUT obligation. "I can do what I want, screw everyone else, I don't care what happens to my fellow citizens". They have no sense of community, no sense of taking care of each other, no sense of giving back what they have received from this country.
That doesn't work too well - it makes for a cold, selfish world. Personally, I don't like it that way, but I guess many do.

It's still a cold, selfish world, but the difference is that when you use the government to impose your will, it's cold, selfish and oppressive.
