Having personally chewed this once while in the south pacific, I can report that it does not cause drunkenness. If anything, it causes a caffeine-like reaction, makes your body feel hot (as in thermally hot) and gives you energy.

The nut you're thinking of that is chewed in Africa is the kola nut. Its properties are similar to the betel nut, and having chewed this occasionally for two years when I lived in Africa, I can tell you that it's definitely got caffeine-like properties and does not make you drunk.
OK you got me, perhaps it was smuggled in Richards. Bottom line he liked his altered mental state, lets hope it's not inherited by DumbBo, while he's in office anyway.

I believe his election will benefit the country.

Seeing the type of people his election upsets is just an added little bonus

Always nice to get a twofer!

Yeah, the left was so uniting when they disparaged a war hero's record and sacrifice? Tell your troubles to Jesus, I'm just John the Baptist this week.

I think they were as natural as most couples I know.

Did she have her Black Widow dress on again or did her handlers shorten her leash and make her wear something less ridicules? I suggest she try something like this http://www.tackytreasures.com/tackyhtml/tackyimages/markeden1992.jpg (broken link)

Yes, I did too. I didn't get to see all of it since my son called after it was only about 1/2 over. I thought, "Oh, my. It sounds like she's quite overbearing." Her comment on his dish washing was pretty lame.
