Wow. I am seriously loving this "GOP is dead" rhetoic. It always bounces around when one party loses. I suppose most people here are too young to remember '80, '84 or '88.. You would have thought the end of the world was going to be brought on by flood from the tears of the Democrats.. (or was that the National Convention??)

That's nice and colorful, but as of Jan 2009 the Democrats will control 29 of the governorships, Republicans only 21.. Just the fact that you have to tout that, is an example of how bad a shape the GOP currently is in.

Let me add to my list that the GOP has also alienated any person who is capable of intelligent thought by spreading rhetoric and nonsense like that quoted above.
