It sure hits the nail on the head as far as I'm concerned.

I have been posting this very same thought since she was chosen. It is very disconcerting that she was actually allowed to proceed as a running mate for a Presidential candidate.. It was absolutely bizzare! Talk about the emporer not having any clothes (well, in this case, the empress and actually she had many, as we all know.) It is frightening that part of the populace took her seriously.

"It is excruciating to watch her - but more excruciating to watch those who feel obliged to defend her."

No kidding!

Probably the same thing John McCain's electorate was smoking when they nominated him.

Well written article that coincides with general feeling of horror and incredulity expressed by so many on this forum in regards to Palin's nomination.

It's not Sarah Palin who is so frightening or noteworthy. It's the people who continue to support her and her ludacris aspirations to become a world leader even though it has become glaringly, laughingly obvious to any discriminating person that she is completely incapable.

It's the people who have demonstrated a willingness to sacrifice our national security to win an election and maintain power. The same people who are now trying to wiggle their way out of culpability by disinvesting themselves from her to maintain a shred of political credibility.

She is like the Bride of Frankenstein. She continues to incite divisiveness and ridicule even now. Those who created her need to forever be held responsible for whatever damage and embarrassment she may inflict!
