In fact, if this pathetic group opposes Kennedy, this is a clear indication that she would be exceptional in that role.
Does that mean she'll get the votes from the urban sophisticates that reside in the 'hood?

Both party partisans are drinking the kool-aid.

I hate to tell you, as much as you whine about Fox News, MSNBC, Huffington Post and many other media are just as bad but on the left and far left of the aisle. Thank you for showing your partisanship.

The last poll I read (after this was posted) showed a lot of "undecideds". The pros and cons were about the same.

While she may not be qualified, well, Hillary wasn't really, either, but turned about to be a good senator.
That being said though, I think Patterson should appoint someone, who respesents an office or position in Upstate NY. This area has been spat on, for way too long and this would be a sign of a different direction if this was one.

Really enlighten me. What exactly made Hillary a good senator? What did she do of note?

Hillary Rodham Clinton - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
It's pretty detailed, so that's says something.
Anyway, this is about Caroline Kennedy, not a chance for you to take an unrelated cheap shot at Clinton.

I'm coming to the opinion that when Senators or Congressmen vacate their seats - there should be a special election to determine who takes it...

Leaving these decisions up to other politicians only invites bribery and corruption...

I've been thinking about why I don't have a care in the world about this issue, and it finally dawned on me that it is for the same reason that I don't care about Jeb Bush running for the Senate as well; I don't live in either New York or Florida. It is a local issue at best. Let the citizens of either state do as they like.
