The admin HOPED the original country would take them back...If they didn't before, why would now? What are we going to do with them if they refuse to take them?
Well to quote many, even those folks on the left... "we broke it now we have to fix it" (as pertaining to Iraq)
While I certainly don't want them, it should serve to be a lesson in the future of what not to do. I suppose it would first be prudent to allow them representation, present evidence, determine if there is a case for prosecution, if so, then give them a trial and let a jury or a judge decide. If lack of evidence suggest we must release these people and no one wishes to host them, then I guess we could let them live on the Bush ranch as migrant field hands, cutting brush and burning leaves. After all, "He broke it, now let him fix it".
glibness aside, lets first determine their status post Gitmo first.
Seriously, if Gitmo is closed, where do these enemy combatants go?
According to the article that the OP posted...Most countries did not like the Bush administration...Obama's advisors' say they HOPE the countries will like their administration more...

Think with your brain not your fear! In America we believe every man is created equal, innocent until proven guilty, and the right to a fair trial! So you either have the evidence to take them to trial and convict or we presume their innocence! I believe in America and it's laws, do you?
You either believe in americas greatness or you don't! That means your belief is uncircumstancial " not only when you see fit"! I think the system is not perfect, but it's more perfect than those who would try to decide when to imply it!
Well, Bush had seven years to clear out the cases at Gitmo. How many actually came to trial? Five? Less? We all heard about bin Laden's driver and his conviction, but I can't recall any others. Uh, bin Laden's driver... as in chauffeur? That's the big headline case to come out of Gitmo? Must not be many high profile Al Qaeda guys in there, after all.
